The main advantage of this device is that the user has one interface on the computer for all brands of cars. In other cases, the user is forced to use his own diagnostic device with its own software for each brand, spending significant time on retraining and adaptation.
Delphi DS150E is equipped with a multiplexer - a switch mechanism integrated into the device board that mechanically switches contacts coming from the connector. The physical size of the OBD II connector, introduced by manufacturers since 1996, is standard for all makes and models of cars, but both the connection to the contacts and the data buses differ significantly.
The device also comes with a USB cable, with which you can connect directly to a computer or laptop if there is no Bluetooth module. And only through the cable is the software of the device itself updated.
The device has a slot for installing a Micro SD memory card for recording readings in real time without connecting to a computer. At the end of the red panel there is a REC button, when pressed, a sound signal sounds and recording begins.
At the end of the OBD2 connector of the device there is an LED and a power button to illuminate the connection location in the car.
To work, you need to install the software on a computer running Windows OS (XP, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11). The device works with one of three programs - Delphi, Autocom or Wurth WOW! To work on a computer running Apple iOS, you must install the VirtualBox virtual machine program to emulate work in a Windows environment.
The software interface language is Russian, English and others.
