ELM329 is the latest generation diagnostic adapter, developed to replace the ELM327 version. At the same time, it is fully compatible with the ELM327 protocol and programs for it.

ELM329 is specifically designed for encoding applications that require large amounts of data transfer.

Fully compatible with Android, iOS (iPhone, iPad) and Windows devices.

All other adapters that use classic Bluetooth (versions 1.x, 2.x, 3.x) cannot be used with Apple devices due to restrictions in the iOS operating system (no permission from Apple).

Also, when using diagnostic adapters based on a WiFi connection to an iPhone, iPad, the mobile Internet becomes unavailable, but when using ELM329 Bluetooth 4.0 there is no such problem.

Has significantly higher block reading speed for diagnostics and coding than ELM327 Bluetooth 3.0 or 2.0.

ELM329 has a wider range of supported vehicles, including US vehicles and heavy construction equipment.

The adapter works with BimmerCode, BimmerLink, Carista, OBD Fusion, Foscan, Torque Pro, Car Scanner and many others.

For the latest version of Carista to work, you must select the vLinker MC+ connection type.

The adapter has long-term support for updates from the manufacturer, which is carried out using the VgateFwUdater application. Updates optimize the adapter's performance with new vehicles.
