The backlight is activated using a magnet, which is installed on the car door using double-sided tape. On the LED thresholds there is a sensor installed in a certain place; when you approach it, the backlight turns off.

Thresholds are installed instead of the original ones using double-sided tape included in the kit. To dismantle the original thresholds, you need to remove them from the clips using a plastic spatula or a credit card.
