The new washer is a “ceramic-look” cover for the iDrive multimedia system control controller, installed in the exclusive trim of BMW F series cars in the M Sport version. After installation, the controller takes on a more modern look in the style of the latest generations of multimedia NBT EVO and MGU. In addition, the increased size of the washer provides greater comfort when working with the multimedia system.

It is installed on top of the original washer and, if desired, the appearance can be returned back without any traces of installation. To install, you need to pry and remove the top black cover and the silver plastic ring from the original washer. Then, with a little force, install the new washer body on top and then the upper part, aligning the 4 mounting guides inside. After installation, the upper part with the arrows remains stationary (the arrows are highlighted), and the joystick handle, as in the original design, rotates.
