    BMW front and rear sills with LED illumination for X6-series F16 models.

    The backlight turns on when the door is opened and turns off when the door is closed, or after 30 seconds.

    An analogue of the original thresholds with part number 51472361166.

    The backlight is powered by 2 CR2032 batteries. Operating time from one set is 1.5-2 years.

    The backlight is activated using a magnet, which is installed on the car door using double-sided tape. On the LED thresholds there is a sensor installed in a certain place; when you approach it, the backlight turns off.

    The thresholds are installed instead of the original ones on standard mounts. To dismantle the original thresholds, you need to remove them from the clips using a plastic spatula or a credit card.
