The Vag Can Pro (VCP) manual in English includes installation, activation and use of the program for diagnostics and programming of electronic control units in VAG-group cars (Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat). VCP allows you to scan logins in CAN and UDS controllers, which is a unique function.
1. Connecting to the car: step-by-step algorithm
Preparing the car:

Connecting the adapter:

Error reading:
Error codes are output in the PXXXX format (OBD2 standard) and VAG-specific (e.g. 01314 — Engine Control Module).
After troubleshooting, use "Clear DTC" to reset.
Important: Some errors (e.g. AIRBAG) require a second reset after 3-5 ignition cycles.

Enter the "Immobilizer" unit → "Login" (enter the PIN).
Select "Add new key" and follow the instructions (insert the new key into the ignition switch).
Features of the MQB platform (Audi A3 8V):
ODIS Online is required to generate a PIN code (VAG CAN PRO may not support it).
Use the "Emergency Key Programming" mode if you lose all keys.
Important:
Before programming, make a backup of the IMMO unit EEPROM (via a programmer: Xprog, Orange5).
For cars with KESSY (keyless access), an adapter for working with RFID tags is required.
4. Tips and warnings: critical points
Flashing control units:
Always use a stable power source for the laptop and an autonomous power supply for the car.
Do not turn off the ignition until the "Coding completed successfully" message appears.
Do not interrupt the programming process.
Work on Windows 7/10 (32-bit or 64-bit) - better in compatibility mode.
Software issues:
If VAG CAN PRO freezes, close it via the task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) and restart.
For Windows 10/11, set the compatibility mode to Windows 7 (right-click on the shortcut → "Properties").
