    Terms of guarantee, return and exchange of goods in the online store Hidplanet.lv

    The warranty card is an invoice issued in electronic form with data for payment for the goods. The invoice indicates the date of receipt of the goods, from which the warranty period begins. The invoice may also indicate the warranty period, which the buyer can review before purchasing. The warranty period for goods purchased by legal entities is 1 year. The warranty card is valid only if it correctly and accurately indicates the name of the product, product code, and date of sale.

    It is also important to know that the buyer cannot claim a warranty - it is a voluntary promise by the seller or service provider, so the same product may have different warranty terms in different stores.

    Warranty repairs are carried out free of charge while the warranty period is valid.

    1. If you change your mind and decide to refuse the ordered goods, then the Law of the Republic of Latvia “On the Protection of Consumer Rights” (OPPR Law) and the regulating Rules of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia No. 207 “On a distance contract” (KM Rules No. 207) provide that the buyer has the right to terminate agreement within 14 calendar days and return the goods purchased in the online store back to the seller. Also, the OZPP Law in Article 12, Part 6 determines that the consumer is responsible for the safety and quality of the goods during the validity period of the right to return the goods. We advise you to keep the original packaging of the goods so that the goods are not damaged during transportation when using return rights. Hidplanet SIA reserves the right to refuse to return the goods to the buyer or withhold a compensation fee if the goods are damaged, not complete or have lost their original condition.     2. If the product turns out to be defective, Hidplanet SIA offers a replacement of the product or a refund within 72 hours.

    3. The returned product must have all components of the product, as well as additional accessories, if they were included in the package. You are responsible for all components of the product. If an item does not have all components, it cannot be exchanged or refunded.

    4. The item must be returned in the packaging in which it was delivered. The packaging must be undamaged, clean and meet the return requirements of Hidplanet SIA.

Having refused the purchase and sale agreement, within 14 working days you must agree with the seller by phone or email on the return method (all questions about the product and its transportation to place specified by the seller). If you cancel the contract, the money paid for the goods will be returned within 5 (five) working days from the date of confirmation of receipt of the goods. The cost of delivering the goods to the buyer and then returning them to the seller is not refundable, since we are not the ones doing the delivery, but Omniva has done its job.

    6. You do not have the right to withdraw from the purchase and sale agreement provided:

    6.1 If the product was damaged by you changed technical parameters or appearance. Changes in the appearance of the packaging that were necessary in order to inspect the received goods are not considered as an essential need for changes in appearance.

     Cannot be returned within 14 business days from the date of purchase:

    - Goods purchased by legal entities.

    - Products that the buyer physically became acquainted with before the purchase.

    - Diagnostic devices that have been reprogrammed to provide additional functionality. The buyer may do this only at his own risk. The exception is devices with long-term manufacturer support and this is provided as a recommendation in the software.

    - Diagnostic devices that show signs of opening or damaged contacts due to careless connection.

    - Delphi diagnostic device, if some additional declared functions do not work, for example, reading or writing parameters in real time to a Micro SD memory card due to the use of an inappropriate card or file system version. The main function of the device is to read and reset errors.

    - Diagnostic devices due to the buyer's inability to install the software themselves. We only sell devices. By analogy, when laptops are sold without a pre-installed operating system and the buyer himself, or in a competent workshop, installs the software he needs. We do not install programs, as stated in the description for each diagnostic device.

    - Plastic parts of the exterior, interior and key housing that were damaged due to incompetent installation or assembly.

    - Electronic components for interior lighting, xenon headlight lamps that were unprofessionally installed.

    6.2 If the product is clearly identified as used.

    6.3 Nozzles and linings of exhaust pipes that may have been damaged or changed in appearance due to exposure to aggressive winter reagents from the road surface cannot be returned or replaced, since even the original components installed on the conveyor cannot withstand them.

    6.4 If an official refusal has not been submitted within 14 days.

    6.5 If the price of the purchased product or service depends on fluctuations in the financial sector, which the Seller is not able to control.

    6.6 In other cases provided by law.

    7. Paid goods without delivery (pickup) are stored free of charge for 30 days. After this period, a storage fee of 5% of the value of the goods for each day is charged. After 20 days (50 days from the date of payment), the goods become the property of the company.

    7.1 Paid goods delivered by parcel terminals or Omniva courier after an unsuccessful attempt to receive the goods by the buyer are returned to the supplier (online store) within 10 days. After the date of receipt, the goods are stored free of charge for 20 days. After this period, a storage fee of 5% of the value of the goods for each day is charged. After 20 days (50 days from the date of payment), the goods become the property of the company.
